Skrunt

Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 August 2026

This is a draft agreement. Replace the placeholder contact details and legal entity name below before publishing, and have it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Nigerian law before relying on it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By applying for a Skrunt account, or by creating an account using an invite code, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Skrunt.

2. What Skrunt is

Skrunt is a platform that helps schools track student academic performance, manage rosters, record scores, and share results with teachers and parents/guardians.

3. Accounts and roles

Skrunt has four account roles:

  • School administrator: created after a school's application is reviewed and approved, and after completing account setup via a one-time link.
  • Teacher: created by a school administrator issuing an invite code, scoped to specific classes and/or subjects.
  • Parent/Student: created using an invite code issued by a school administrator, linked to a specific student's records.
  • Superadmin: reviews and approves or rejects school applications on behalf of Skrunt.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. School responsibilities

A school administrator is responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter about their school, staff, and students, and for obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians before entering student information into Skrunt. Skrunt is a tool that processes this information on the school's behalf; the school remains responsible for how it collects and manages that information outside the platform.

5. Application review

Submitting a school application does not guarantee approval. We may approve, reject, or request more information about an application at our discretion. No account is created and no fees (if any apply in the future) are charged unless and until an application is approved and account setup is completed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Enter false or misleading information about a school, staff member, or student.
  • Access or attempt to access records, classes, or accounts you are not authorized to view.
  • Share invite codes or account credentials with anyone outside the intended recipient.
  • Use Skrunt in a way that disrupts the platform or attempts to bypass its access controls.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a school's access to Skrunt if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, or if a school's account has been inactive for an extended period. A school administrator may also request closure of their account at any time.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Skrunt available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may update the platform from time to time.

9. Limitation of liability

Skrunt is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Skrunt after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
